STEP ONE

STEP TWO
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure.
-You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

So V (Vivian Leung) has been very kind and keeps inviting us for her awesome plans of fun. The most recent would be for Remembrance Day on Wednesday where I invited her for Cora breakfast (because I am in love with that place), and after trudging to her house, we went skating at The Oval. She had a kazillion people there that she invited in the FB event, but I only knew 5 people there including her and Vin.

Well I actually mean Asian's English names but you understand! ;)
I used to hate how my mom spelled my name as Poleen because all the other kids made fun of it and how it's not spelled as Pauline, the "normal" way. Well through the years of junior and high school, I have eventually come to like the uniqueness of the way my name is spelt. And lately I've noticed a lot of Asian celebrities' English names that though are QUITE LUL-worthy, but in their ways are very much unique.

Example 1: G-Dragon
When I first hear GD's name I was like. wuttt? sounds like a mafia gang name. But when I learnt more about him, I thought it was actually quite brilliant that he made G-Dragon his name because his Korean name is Ji Yong. Yong would be dragon in Korean and G sounds like "Ji", therefore G-Dragon.

Example 2: Fish Leong
I love her songs and when I heard that her English name was Fish, I was like. pfffft what? I don't think it's as brilliant as the GD example, but I think it's because her name is "Leong Jing Ru" and uh because she's Cantonese, it's "Leung Jing Yu" And I suppose the "Yu" sounds like fish in Cantonese therefore the Fish of her name. I like her tonnes and I do love fish!! ^^;

Example 3: KellyJackie, JaniceMan, Angelababy
I put these three people together because...... yeah. KellyJackie's name is that because her name is Jackie and she loved Kelly so much that when she debuted, she added Kelly to her name.. D: IDK the deal with JaniceMan and Angelababy, but srsly. WUT?

Example 4: Kingone Wang
I love on him because I think he isn't bad looking and that his acting is hella good! But when I found out his English name I was also LOLWUT? Because Kingone? But you know I think it's kinda unique.... He's Kingone! No one else will have his name and when I say oh blah blah blah Kingone, they'll know who I'm talking about.

Example 5: Tender Huang
I only found out about him like last week while I was watching his recent lame-ass TW drama with Rachel, in which I ADORE BECAUSE I LOVE ROMANCE DRAMAS/CHICK FLICKS. Because I'm lame and they make me squee and jump in puddles of warm bubbles! So while watching, I totally think he is amazing since hello? Main character guy that I actually agree on that Girl should fall in love with (it's usually I want her to be with supporting guy because he's usually sweeter). So I start to i-stalk him and learn that his English name is called Tender Huang. I LOLed with Brainy when I found out, because RLY? TENDER? But I think I love him more JUST because he is called Tender!!! XD It's a cute name ♥ Well his acting is pretty great too. But maybe he's just outshining Rachel because uhhh it's not her specialty.

Example 6: Golf (Golf-Mike) -updated October 16.2009 I lol @ you Goooooolfie because.... I didn't expect anyone to be named after a sport in which people whack tiny balls into holes far away with a stick.......... I love you too. XD But I still think that Tender's name beats all. I think I will unlock this entry so I can update it whenever I come across odd/unique Asian's English names :D

And here I attempt to explain to you the ways of fandom and fangirling through 6 important phases... (for moi that is.)

The past 2 weeks have been some nostalgic music time for me and my friends, and while they were on about the awesome that is N'SYNC I was always a BSB-er since I knew more of their songs, but N'SYNC had some hella catchy songs as well! (And N'Sync has the upperhand because they don't have Nick Carter as a member. Yuck! He is definitely the only thing I hate about BSB, I wish it was Nick who left BSB and not Kevin....) However, I strongly believe that everyone is overlooking the once and still is very shiny band that is Hanson!

I think I officially need to stalk everywhere to find Hiro&ayaka icons now. The article that hook them up was so cute! 
Can't really quote anything from it because 1) all the words that were exchanged were too cute and sweet and warm and fuzzy! 2) the OP would like to keep it only within the lj comm, so go join to read it! ITS SO CUTE. And it's so obvious as to why they eventually hook up after this article, they are CLEARLY made for each other!!

So right, apparently Hiro and Ayaka were married on Feb 22. But didn't officially tell people/their jimusho(?) until like the past few days. And then they're going to officially like do the papers on his birthday. I highly doubt he knocked her up now because of the things he said in the press con they had (apparently you can find them on youtube?) The reason why they've decided to marry is because THEY LOVE EACH OTHER? lol, well hiro said that ayaka is too precious of a person to him and that he would definitely regret it if he passed her by. And the thing is Ayaka has some form of thyroid problem (most of the other translated articles in ayaka/hiro's comm pretty much explain it all), and hiro said he wanted to be able to support her in all she does and to be by her side. ISNT THAT SWEET?

This couple would never get antis. And if they did, I'd chase them down and convert them.

Anyways, just finished my psychology research experiment in which all I had to do was read. XD and do this short test. Ahh. I want to go home and stalk for icons.
And yeah, I need this couple icon now because it makes me sad that I need to use a lonely ayaka icon. T_T
